What is calibration?

The actual accuracy of a scale or balance. In testing the calibration you need an accurate weight. Some instruments have an internal calibration that can be quite accurate, and can be used to check as a routine. Check your operator's guide.

As field technicians we have very accurate test weights to verify calibration.

Calibration should be adjusted during on-site servicing.
