When do I have to calibrate?
Whenever you set it up for the first time or change the location of the balance or scale (determination of a mass by the balance or scale in dependence on gravitational acceleration).
A sensitivity test should be done before calibration, and only if the balance or scale is out of the tolerances you specify should it be recalibrated.
